Another Year

Another year, where has it gone?
The glue is hardened stone
– perceptions solidified.

Celestial sphere, dispelled pawn.
From rain new seeds sown
– shadows beside.

Hearts adhere, travel along.
Nevermore you’ll be alone
– nevermore be denied.

Melodic tear, a fate of song.
Immaculate pitch and tone
– unadulterated pride

Vitalized content, shapes a shifting.
A light in the desert
– leading astray.

Prophecies sent, hearts a lifting.
Extorted spirit of red dirt
– Kadarchi’s decay.

A story lent, the raft ceased drifting.
An innocence to exert
– a price to pay.

About Stayne

Welcome to my page and thank you so much for stopping by. I feel honoured to share some of your precious time. These are just a collection of thoughts that have popped into my head and I have managed to store here. I am hoping that one day I will find the time and inspiration to return to these thoughts to edit and craft poems out of them...ah maybe one day.
