100 Years From Now

Riding round the mountain
On a bareback horse
Picking all the wild flowers

In the spring of course
Sharing secrets with the
Thirsty blue gum trees

Pollinating passion
With the sacred bees
Inspired wisdom

The kookaburra sings
New life in water
Rainbow serpent brings

Give more than you take
Keeps a balanced peace
Protect our Mother Earth

A genuine belief
Riding round the mountain
100 years from now

Old people changed their ways
Proudly looking down
They shared the secrets

Of the days gone by
They started picking up the pieces
So we don’t have to live a lie

About Stayne

Welcome to my page and thank you so much for stopping by. I feel honoured to share some of your precious time. These are just a collection of thoughts that have popped into my head and I have managed to store here. I am hoping that one day I will find the time and inspiration to return to these thoughts to edit and craft poems out of them...ah maybe one day.
