Confession

would you believe
i can love; i can trust
reveal an inner self

picture book left open
for a mother to read
her child at bed time

convince another soul
what they see is real
what I portray is true

i would like to believe
but i’m afraid; a kitten
stranded in pouring rain

i confess that i’m a fake
unable to accept love
lazarus of the unknown

paint pictures at night
mould clay in the dark
photograph the sun

comfort sings solitude
in mysterious harmonies
penciled upon poems

About Stayne

Welcome to my page and thank you so much for stopping by. I feel honoured to share some of your precious time. These are just a collection of thoughts that have popped into my head and I have managed to store here. I am hoping that one day I will find the time and inspiration to return to these thoughts to edit and craft poems out of them...ah maybe one day.
